It is good that you're already thinking about college. In my opinion it's 50/50. 50% is school and 50% the student himself. For IT madami pwede, ganito gawin mo, Decide which field in IT you want to pursue: programming ba? hardware? web? graphics? It will decide what course you will take. Keep your options open, lahat ng colleges na me entrance exam kumuha ha. Then while applying there you can already see the school's facilities kung ok yung facilities duon ka. If capable ka naman na mag private then mag private ka. I believe everybody should take the UPCAT exam it's our right as Filipinos. You still have a year to prepare if you really want IT you can already start now, self study ka, software right now madali pag-aralan you just need common sense.
