Lorenzo's Nursery Recognition Day

This morning was Lorenzo’s Nursery Recognition Day, after weeks of practice for the program and a year of studying; we finally attended the conclusion of Lorenzo’s Nursery Classes. The school said this day is the gift of the children for us their parents, it was a special and happy day for everybody. We enjoyed the special numbers prepared by the children, Lorenzo even conducted the National Anthem(I’ll upload it in You tube soon). They showcased the skills and talent they had developed throughout the school year, they danced, sang and even performed a short play. It touched my loving mother’s heart how eager and good all of them were during their performances. I got teary eyed when the children sang then gave roses to their parents as a culmination of the ceremonies. The Awards Even though I attended their daily rehearsals I have no idea what awards would be given or if my son would receive any but just before the awarding portion got started my son whispered in my ear that he has 3 a...

Graduated Recently? How did you choose the companies you want to work in?

I had an opportunity to catch up on a student of mine who recently graduated, we chatted the afternoon away and talked mostly about his career path and how he choose the company he works for at present and his future career moves. He gave me his permission in blogging some parts of our conversation. I left out his name and the companies we are talking about for his privacy. ICT Profile of Students as Predictor to ICT Education

I have presented my research paper last Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Bulwagang Balagtas at the NALRC, PUP. I felt good after my presentation, I realized that it’s not enough to work on research but it must also be shared to the people concerned. The First Engineering Research Conference with the theme: “Engineers, Engineering, Re-Engineering: Facing the Challenges of Research and Development” at the Ninoy Aquino Leaning and Resource Center at PUP, Manila from March 12-16 2007 gave me this opportunity and motivated me to conduct more researches. This research was done with the partnership of my good friend Pedrito M. Tenerife Jr., he provided the interpretation of the data gathered and help me make the final paper for this research that will be published in a research journal.
